REGULATIONS
PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

All participants who wish to have their car or motorcycle evaluated may take part in the competition. Advance registration is not required.

Vehicles belonging to the organizers may be evaluated only outside the competition. They cannot be declared winners. The official list of organizers can be found here: americanspirit.lt/apie-mus

JURY EVALUATION

The vehicles are evaluated by an independent three-member jury. Each judge inspects different parts of the car or motorcycle, such as the engine bay, interior, or trunk, based on the evaluation criteria published in advance.

Each participant is allocated up to 5 minutes for inspection. The judges’ scores are added together, and the participant with the highest number of points becomes the winner of their category.

In the event of a tie, the decision is made by the jury by mutual agreement. The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

The winners will be announced on Saturday, August 1, 2026, during the awards ceremony.

BEST OF THE BEST

From all category winners, the jury selects the three best candidates. From these candidates, the “Best of the Best” winner is chosen by event director Donatas Žukauskas.

Winner’s prizes:

SIGNEDA 500 Eur gift voucher for SIGNEDA products
Unique commemorative trophy
Free participation in the 2028 “American Spirit” festival

EVALUATION SCHEDULE

The jury will work in a specially prepared evaluation area:

Thursday, July 30, 2026: 16:00–18:00
Friday, July 31, 2026: 11:00–14:00
Saturday, August 1, 2026: 11:00–13:00

Evaluation will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants choose their own arrival time and come to the evaluation area on their own initiative.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

No more than 10 cars may wait in line near the evaluation area.

After the inspection, the participant must immediately leave the evaluation area.

Participants who do not arrive within the specified time will not be evaluated. The last evaluation starts on Saturday at 12:50.

We recommend arriving for evaluation earlier — on Thursday or Friday.

Each vehicle submitted for evaluation must have a clearly attached “American Spirit 2026” participant card with its registration number.

BEST OF SHOW BY SIGNEDA 2026 CATEGORIES

Best Classic – cars produced before 1955
Best Oldies – cars produced from 1956 to 1985
Best Young – cars produced from 1986 to 2015
Best Modern – cars produced from 2016 to 2026
Best Muscle – 2-door, rear-wheel-drive V8 cars
Best Van – mini and full-size vans
Best Truck – pickup trucks
Best 4x4 – SUVs, excluding pickup trucks, including heavy off-road vehicles
Best Special Interest – exceptional service vehicles, such as police cars, military vehicles, buses, etc.
Best Cabrio – cars with a removable or opening roof
Best Rod – modified cars in the Hot Rod, Street Rod, and Rat Rod classes
Best Motorcycle – motorcycles
Best Sport – cars prepared for participation in motorsport competitions
Ugliest – cars that are far from perfect both technically and visually, but are charismatic and have a distinctive character
Project In Progress – cars undergoing restoration or modification
Best Pontiac – a category dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Pontiac

FINAL NOTE

The “Best of the Best” winner will be selected from all category winners.
