We recommend come for entertainment near BIG 2 shopping centre, Taikos pr. 141, Klaipėda from 4:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. Traditionally participants of the event enrapture inhabitants and guests of Klaipėda by their vehicles spreading an exclusive American spirit. You are welcome to the exposition of American motor vehicles, entertainments, competitions for the participants and spectators.

Part of J.Basanavičiaus street from Vytauto street to Birutės alley in Palanga.

The recommended time - 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, 28 July 2018.

Demonstration of all cars and motorcycles of all participants, election of the top cars and motorcycles, various entertainments. The spectators will elect the car/motorcycle they like mostly. One of the spectator participated in the Public best election will be elected by lot and awarded with a prize.

Parade of cars and motorcycles: 

12 noon, 28 July 2018 - The Parade in Palanga. The best place to see the show – Vytauto g. from the Winter Stadium of Palanga City – S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno g. to Birutė alley, the whole Birutė alley to J. Basanavičiaus g. and J. Basanavičiaus g.

Route: Vytauto g. - S.Dariaus ir S.Girėno g. – Birutė alley – J. Basanavičiaus g.

3:30 p.m. Big Parade

Details

 

- Cars and motorcycles of traditional American producers are eligible to participate in the event.

- A participant makes a financial contribution to the organisation fund.

- The organisers are entitled to refuse registration without explanations.

- Safety of cars/motorcycles is a responsibility of the participants.

A Candidate is considered to be a true participant OF The AMERICAN SPIRIT if he/she:

- has provided a registration form and 2 pictures of the car/motorcycle in due time

- has made a contribution to the organisational fund in due time

-  has been included in the list of participants

ORGANISATIONAL FUND

The American Spirit is non-commercial, non-promotional event. It is a gathering of like-minded peers financed by the funds collected to the organisational fund from the participants.

In 2018, contribution to the organisational fund is EUR 30 per car/motorcycle, driver and one crew member, EUR 10 for every additional crew member except for the children up to 12 years.  The contribution shall be prepaid by a bank transfer.

The contribution set is a minimum amount, however, you are welcome to support the event by a more significant amount. Your support will add to the variety and quality of the event. 

A PARTICIPANT OF THE AMERICAN SPIRIT UNDERTAKES: 

- to place the support stickers provided by the organisers on the car according to the scheme presented.

- to follow instructions of the organisers.

- to move in the territory of the event and the expo zone only under control of  "the traffic control officer“; parking of cars is allowed only in the places specified.

- to adhere to the instructions published in the American Spirit information bulletin. The bulletin is available here www.americanspirit.lt and will also be provided along with the stickers of the event.

- not to burn out in J. Basanavičiaus street and the area near it during the Grand Parade!

- Laikytis Lietuvos Respublikos eismo taisyklių.

- to leave the territory of the expo zone in J. Basanavičiaus street until 4:45 p.m., 28 July 2018.

UPON POSSIBILITY, A PARTICIPANT OF THE AMERICAN SPIRIT SHOULD:

- decorate the car with flags

- wear American, motor style clothes

PERMITS FOR VEHICLES

Admittance to the territory is provided only having special stickers:

PARTICIPANT’S STICKER – received by all duly registered participants. Two types of stickers are available: numbered and unnumbered.

SUPPORT STICKER – organisers (provided automatically), sales, special transport, transport of participants’ support (please contact by e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), transport of guests (should be pre-agreed).

ADVERTISING

For using commercial brands on the cars and promotions during the event, a permit of the organisers is required. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to the cars with commercial brands into the territory of the event without a permit.

From 4.00 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, 27 July 2018 - you are welcome to entertainments in Klaipėda, near the BIG 2 shopping centre (Taikos pr. 141, Klaipėda http://www.big2-klaipeda.lt/). From 4.00 p.m. to 7 p.m. – registration, exhibition, entertainments for participants and spectators.

From 10 a.m., Saturday, 28 July 2018 – you are welcome to Palanga City Winter Stadium near Palanga Botanical Park, address:  Vytauto g. 16, Palanga.  There will be registration of the participants and preparation for the cruise. At 12 noon – departure to the main place of the event and the place of the exhibition – J. Basanavičiaus street, Palanga. At 4.30 p.m. – return to Palanga City Winter Stadium.

 

Details

Hotels: We recommend to stay in the hotels near the place of the event (Gabija, Pušų paunksnė, Prie Parko, Palangos Vėtra, Vila Ramybė, Arbatos Vila ). We remind you that Palanga is a small town and the place of the event will be easily reachable from any location of your hotel. Booking agencies: Booking.com, PrieJuros.lt.

Tents: The tents may be set up only in the places specified. The territory will not be watched out, and therefore, the participants will have to take care of the safety of their possessions themselves.

The tents may be set up from 26 July 2018 6 p.m. On 29 July 2018, all tents should be dismantled until 2.00 p.m. Places for tents are designated only to registered participants.
