BEST OF SHOW 2024 PROCEDURE

"The Best of Show competition is open to all entrants who wish to have their car or motorcycle evaluated. Participation is without pre-registration.
To avoid any conflict of interest, cars from the event organisers may be judged, but not in a competitive manner. That is to say, they may not be declared the best. The official list of the organising team can be found here https://www.americanspirit.lt/index.php/en/about-us
The cars/motorcycles will be judged by a jury. The judging category is assigned by the jury members. The jury members visually assess the cars/motorcycles by scoring them according to pre-declared criteria. 
Each judge will look at different parts - e.g. one judge looks under the bonnet and another looks under the boot etc. 
The estimated number of judges is 3.
Estimated inspection time per participant - max 5 minutes.
All judges' scores are added together. The winner is the participant with the highest number of points.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by a panel decision.
The decision of the jury shall be final and indisputable.
The winners will be announced at the Awards on 27.07.2024 at 19:30.
The winners will be awarded diplomas, unique commemorative statuettes and Signeda prizes.

BEST OF THE BEST ELECTION:

The judging committee selects the top 3 winners from all categories. From the 3 candidates submitted, the Best Of The Best is chosen by Donatas Žukauskas, the event director.

"The Best Of The Best will receive a special diploma, a unique commemorative statuette, a special Signeda prize - a certificate worth €500 and free entry to the 2025 American Spirit Car Festival. Their car will also be featured on the poster for next year's event.

BEST OF SHOW SCHEDULE

The jury works in a special area.
Thursday 25 July 2024 16:00 - 18:00;
Friday 26 July 2024 11:00 - 14:00
Saturday 27 July 2024 11:00 - 14:00

Participants will be judged in a live queue at a time of their own choosing. Participants will arrive at the judging site themselves.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

The queue at the judging area cannot exceed 5 cars. Entrants with a longer queue will be disqualified.
At the end of the inspection, the participant must leave the evaluation area immediately.
Entrants who do not make it to the judging on time will not be judged. Start time for the last participant's judging Saturday 27 July 2024 at 13:50.
In view of these provisions, please take advantage of the opportunity to be evaluated as early as possible, e.g. on Thursday or Friday.

"Best Classic Custom/Stock - cars built before 1953.
"Best Oldies Custom/Stock - cars built between 1954 and 1983.
"Best Young Custom/Stock - cars built between 1984 and 2013.
"Best Modern Custom/Stock - cars built between 2014 and 2024.
"Best Muscle - 2-door rear-wheel drive cars with V8 engines.
"Best Van - Mini, Full Size Van.
"Best Truck - Pick-up trucks
"Best 4x4 - SUVs, heavy off-road equipment, non-pickups 
"Best Special Interest - service vehicles that are uniquely distinguished from conventional vehicles and/or designed for a specific purpose, such as a police car, military vehicle or bus
"Best Cabrio - a body type with an opening or removable roof and rear window.
"Best Hot Rod - cars modified to have more speed and acceleration or a sportier appearance. This class also includes Street Rod and Rat Rod cars.
"Best Motorcycle - Motorcycles.
"Best Mustang: - 60th Anniversary Ford Mustang category.

"Best Of The Best - selected from the winners of all categories.
