Memel Automuseum supports this initiative by gifting a private tour to the winning club – for a group of up to 30 people. This is a unique opportunity to organize a club team-building event! 🙂

REGISTRATION

The application must include:

  • Club name
  • Contact person responsible for coordinating the club’s participation

Attention! If fewer than 3 clubs register, the championship will be cancelled.

Club Requirements:

  • The club must have a name and emblem
  • At least 4 club members and the club president must participate
  • The club does not need to be legally registered – informal groups are welcome

The best club will be determined based on the total points accumulated across all stages, including bonus points for participating in additional activities.

STAGE 1 – Tire Changing Relay

📍 Location: Burnout Zone, Aerodrome
👥 Participants: Min. 4 club members
🚗 The club brings one car of their choice

Task:
The first two members run to the car, remove the front (driver side) wheel, and carry it back to the start line, where the other two members take it and run back to the car to reattach it. The car is then lowered, and all members run back to the finish line.

⏱ Time is recorded from start to the last member crossing the finish line.

STAGE 2 – Virtual Racing
📅 Date: July 25, 12:00
📍 Location: Bider.lt tent
👤 Participants: 1 per club

🎮 Platform: Assetto Corsa

🚗 Car: All players use the same American car

Driving order will be determined by lottery. Each participant gets 3 practice laps and 3 timed laps. The best lap time counts.

STAGE 3 – Burger Grilling Contest
📅 Date: July 25, 14:00
📍 Location: BBQ Alley
👨‍🍳 Participants: Up to 4 grillers + club president (does not grill but judges others)

🔧 Clubs must bring their own grill, charcoal or briquettes, all tools, and ingredients.
⚠️ Ingredients must be raw (except ground meat and sauces, which must be ready to use and stored in non-transparent containers). There must be enough burgers to serve one per participating team.

🔥 Grilling starts exactly at 14:00 – from the moment the fire is lit.
🍔 Burgers must be presented for judging by 14:50 – late entries will not be evaluated.

PARTICIPATION RULES

Everyone wishing to have their car or motorcycle evaluated is welcome to participate in the competition. No pre-registration is required.

Vehicles owned by event organizers may be evaluated, but they are not eligible for awards and cannot be declared winners. The official list of organizers is available here: americanspirit.lt/about-us

JUDGING PROCESS

Vehicles are evaluated by an independent jury of three members. Each judge inspects different sections of the vehicle (e.g., engine bay, interior, trunk) based on pre-established criteria.

Each participant receives up to 5 minutes for evaluation. The scores from all judges are combined, and the participant with the highest score is declared the winner in their category.

In the event of a tie, the decision is made collectively by the jury. All decisions of the jury are final and non-negotiable.

Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on July 26, 2025, at 19:30.

Prizes include: certificates, unique commemorative trophies, and SONAX gift sets.

BEST OF THE BEST

From all category winners, the jury selects the top three candidates. The final “Best Of The Best” winner is chosen by the event director Donatas Žukauskas.

Prizes for the “Best Of The Best” winner:

  • Special certificate

  • Full professional SONAX car care kit
  • Free participation in the 2026 “American Spirit” festival
  • The winning vehicle will be featured on the next year’s official event poster

EVALUATION SCHEDULE

The jury will work in a dedicated evaluation area:

  • Thursday, July 24, 2025: 16:00–18:00
  • Friday, July 25, 2025: 11:00–14:00
  • Saturday, July 26, 2025: 11:00–13:00

Participants are evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each participant chooses when to come to the judging area on their own initiative.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

  • No more than 5 vehicles may be lined up at the evaluation area at any time.
  • After being evaluated, participants must immediately leave the area.
  • Participants who do not arrive on time will not be judged. The last evaluation begins at 13:50 on Saturday.
  • We recommend arriving early – on Thursday or Friday.
  • Each vehicle presented for judging must have a clearly visible “American Spirit 2025” participant card with the registration number attached.

  • Best Oldies – cars manufactured from 1955 to 1984
  • Best Young – cars manufactured from 1985 to 2014

  • Best Van – Mini and Full-Size vans
  • Best Truck – pickup trucks
  • Best 4x4 – off-road vehicles (excluding pickups), including heavy-duty off-road machinery
  • Best Special Interest – unique service vehicles (e.g., police, military, buses)
  • Best Cabrio – vehicles with removable or retractable roofs
  • Best Hot Rod – modified cars: Hot Rod, Street Rod, Rat Rod classes

  • Best Sport – vehicles prepared for motorsport events
  • Ugliest – vehicles that are far from perfect both technically and visually but stand out with their unique character and charisma

On Saturday, July 26, the 3rd Championship “Fire Speaks, Smoke Whispers” will take place at the Druskininkai Airfield, together with the American Spirit 2025 Festival!

The best teams from all over Lithuania will compete for the title of BBQ masters, showcasing their skills, creativity, and flavor finesse.

Expect delicious smoke, excitement, and real flavor battles!

Organizational Information

  • Overnight stay is only for participants (bring your own tent)
  • You may come with a camper (notify in advance)
  • There will be toilets and sinks on site
  • Departure — Saturday evening or by 12:00 on Sunday
  • Leave the territory clean
  • Dispose of hot coals in the designated metal container
  • Pack up your tent and gear after your final category
  • Inform us in advance about your tent and number of people

What the organizers will provide:

  • Sun/rain shelter tent
  • Table
  • 10 kg of charcoal
  • Beef tomahawk steak
  • 1 kg pork neck

  • Cleaned eel

What to bring yourself:

  • Grill, tools, ignition gear
  • Heat-resistant gloves, knives, cutting boards

  • Ingredients for garnish and marinade for skewers
  • At least 5 liters of water, disinfectant
  • First aid kit, fire extinguisher (keep in the car)
  • Good mood and a plan for taking your prizes home!

  • Cook a dish only from the products in the box

Pork Skewers:

  • You marinate the meat and make the garnish yourself

  • Grilled or smoked, no garnish or sauce
  • Must serve 6–8 pieces
  • Judging (max 45 points)

Additional Information

Since everyone arrives the evening before and will immediately receive their products, it’s very important to store them properly until cooking.
We highly recommend bringing a cooler box. Nothing fancy is needed — a simple thermal box is enough. You can find these at "Senukai" or similar stores for €10–€20.
Add a couple of kilograms of ice and it’ll keep everything at the right temperature all evening and night.
